ABA Services

We now offer center-based ABA services!

What is this service?

In-home and center based ABA services are offered to families of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Many insurance companies will provide the funding for these services so that families are not impacted by the cost of services. Both in-home and center based ABA services provide 1:1 learning time between clients and direct therapists, parent training, and behavioral assessment and intervention components. We serve children from early childhood through school age.

What do sessions look like?

Our sessions are based on the individual needs of each client that we work with. Typically, we are working on targeted skills identified through the initial assessment. We may also work on decreasing inappropriate behavior, increasing adaptive behavior, teaching functional living skills, and parent training. We collect data on all of our targeted interventions, and provide families with copies of all of our goals prior to the onset of treatment. Telehealth services are available when clinically appropriate.

Scope of ABA Services

Empowered Kids LLC provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and those with related behavioral needs. Services include individualized ABA therapy delivered through center-based, in-home, and community-based settings, as well as parent training and social skills support. We serve young and school-aged children and may deliver services face-to-face or through telehealth when clinically appropriate. Empowered Kids LLC provides ABA services only and does not provide medical, psychological counseling, or allied therapies such as speech, occupational, or physical therapy.

Types of ABA Services

Empowered Kids LLC provides both Comprehensive ABA Services and Focused ABA Services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Treatment recommendations are individualized based on assessment findings, medical necessity, and each child's strengths and needs.

Comprehensive ABA Services

Comprehensive ABA is recommended for children demonstrating needs across multiple developmental domains. Treatment may address:

  • Functional communication

  • Social communication

  • Play skills

  • Adaptive living skills

  • Cognitive and learning skills

  • School readiness

  • Behavior reduction

  • Parent and caregiver training

  • Community participation and generalization

Focused ABA Services

Focused ABA is recommended when treatment targets a more limited number of skill deficits or behavioral concerns. Focused treatment may include:

  • Functional communication

  • Behavior reduction

  • Toileting

  • Daily living skills

  • Social skills

  • Parent training

  • Community-based goals

Treatment intensity is based on individualized assessment and medical necessity rather than a predetermined number of hours.
